I’ve been captivated by the idea of change lately.

Change feels so good, it’s exciting and too much routine can kill a guy.
Sometimes I wonder if I’m addicted to change. Would that be a bad addiction? Maybe not. I sometimes think our world is headed for a big change that nobody can actually put their finger on. You know, that feeling you get when you realize that cost savings doesn’t necessarily mean you are willing to do business with a machine. The Internet is screwing with the customer relationship in ways that go beyond the obvious flee from brick and mortar retail. For most of my life the sales industry has been creeping away from face to face sales and favored impersonal internet purchases. We seem to have exhausted the cost savings that removing the middle man creates. So now what? Society is realizing that saving the little bit of cash to not go to a store may not be worth sacrificing the middle man. We’ve saved some cash but many times we have had to buy a product more than once to finally get what we need rather than what we thought we needed. Things are changing. I’m ready.
