I put in my two week notice and I’m almost out the door. I start working for Prime Health Services on August 4th. I have always wanted to work in healthcare and I finally have that opportunity. I met the CEO of this company at AT&T and was very impressed with him and the company he has developed. I checked out his website found an opening and an interview later it was all done. So this is goodbye to cell phones and hello to a career. Needless to say I’m very excited and can’t wait to see what it will be like.

John Mark McMillan’s music has impacted who I am and how I think more than anything I’ve heard in a really long time. If you have heard his stuff you know what I’m talking about. I really believe John Mark is writing music that is destined to change the world. I don’t mean make the world want to go to church, I mean make the world want to become “the church.”

I found out today that plans for my birthday party have been brewing for over a month. Heather finally told me what we were doing on my birthday and it was awesome. We went to Cabana for drinks and food then went and played laser tag. So I had my 25th birthday at a laser tag place. Needless to say, I was pumped and we had a really great time. CJ Weems helped Heather organize the deal and has stopped at nothing to funnel me towards what was going down. He even had my manager at work tell me that the schedule was going to change so that I couldn’t make plans to be out of town on my birthday. The party wasn’t all though. I told Heather that I wished Alan and Mareike could be around for my birthday but they weren’t able to come because of other plans. Well….I’m sitting around the house on the day before my birthday and get a call from Alan. Right when he calls Dakota starts barking and I can hear Dakota in the apartment and on the phone…..yep Alan and Mareike had driven up for the weekend for my birthday. Crazy huh? I was super excited. Best birthday ever!!!
