Here are a few pictures of the oil on the beach tonight. I’ll post more in the morning.

We have been here for a few days and have only seen little spots of tar and oil. It gets on your feet but it’s easy to wash off with dawn and wasn’t a very big deal. The news said the oil shouldn’t get here until Sunday.

The oil is here now and there is tons of it. It rolled in around 9 or 10 PM. I would try to describe what it looks like but there are no words. I’ll post some pictures tomorrow.

This is the real deal. We’ve had their Boston Butts and wings and can’t wait to try everything else they make.  The Boston Butt falls apart and is amazing.  I just had the wings tonight and they are the best I’ve ever had.  They will be in the Crosspoint Church parking lot tomorrow from 11AM to 6PM (Saturday 7/11/09).
