Close Call

We had a close call on the river yesterday. We’ve been spending a pretty decent amount of time on the river in the last week. Two days ago we had a close call with a friend of ours on a Jet Ski. Ware Cox is on the Jet Ski and me Luke, Tim, Michael, Ellis, and Ben were on the boat. If Ellis hadn’t gunned the boat at the perfect time, the Jet Ski would have probably ridden right onto the boat. The camera pulls away because we were all running for the front of the boat. Good times.

First River Day

Ellis and I decided to go wakeboarding today on the river. Everything went great for a couple of hours. Then the jet ski broke. We decided to pull the jet ski to the marina (10 minutes by boat) to take it out of the water. No prob. Got the jet ski to the marina and pushed the boat back into the river to ride back to ellis’ house. Wait…..the boat won’t start. 20 minutes later we made a sail out of the thing that shades the boat from the sun. 40 minutes of consistent wind, skilled steering, and our trusty makeshift sail and we were back at ellis’ house. Fun right? Yep.
